Ho soggiornato una settimana in questo Hotel e devo dire che tutto era perfetto.
Stanze pulitissime, cucina ottima (supercuoco!!!), ottimo rapporto con il personale veramente disponbile per qualsiasi richiesta. La chicca di questo albergo.... la bellissima terrazza con il tramonto dove cenavamo ogni sera indimenticabile. Lo consiglio a chi sceglie di fare una bella vacanza rilassante in una bella location.

Che fantastica esperienza! Posto bellissimo, cibo squisito e relax. Non potevamo chiedere di meglio! Consigliatissimo!!
La terrazza vista mare ci ha permesso di godere di un panorama unico, spettacolare! E di godercelo addirittura mentre si pranzava o cenava!
È una vacanza che ripeterò più che volenteri!

Hotel Belmare is positioned perfectly on the Western side of the stunningly beautiful island of Elba, in an elevated position with the most amazing sunsets over the sea. This is a great area for walking trails and sandy beaches. You don't need a car - you can catch the buses to the beaches without any hassle and it's worth it (go to the ones around the West / South of the area).
The hotel itself is a joy. The rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. We went half board and the food is superb and amazingly good value, with lovely buffet breakfast and three course meals (choice of lunch or dinner, so very flexible). Vicenzo and the staff are so lovely, friendly and can't do enough to help.
This isn't a hotel with frills - there's no pool, for example, so if you prefer lounging around and spa treatments, it's not for you. If, however, you love being outside, experiencing Italian life, exploring and relaxing then you'll love it.
I can't recommend this enough - we had a fantastic holiday here for a week and loved every minute!

Hotel Belmare is in a stunning location in the most beautiful part of the island in our opinion. The evening meals were a treat - varied and interesting local dishes and amazing sunsets over the sea. Vincenzo and his family obviously love the island and love being hospitable which creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The room was adequate rather than luxurious but had a lovely terrace with views of the ocean and remained pleasantly cool in spite of the high temperatures we experienced while there. The hotel is near to several quiet uncrowded beaches and to the beautiful hillside town of Marciana and the 'cabinovia' up to Mte Capanne - an excursion not to be missed! We felt the hotel was excellent value and would highly recommend it. A and I Lewis.

Wir fanden das Hotel über Tripadvisor und waren hell begeistert! Schöne Lage am Berg mit Sicht aufs Meer und Korsika. Dank der guten Lage konnten wir Sonnenaufgänge und Untergänge auf der Terrasse zu wunderbaren Speisen und gutem Wein geniessen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich sofort wieder, auch im Anbetracht des guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnisses! Wir waren begeistert.

My wife and I went to Elba island for our honey moon. We had a lot of fun not only from the beautiful sea but also from this family run hotel. The location and the view are perfect. Although we don't know Italian, we still felt the kind hospitality of the host. Not only that, the chef, Mirko, was very helpful and he cooked the tasty traditional homemade Toscana cousin. I won't forget the mussel sauce he cooked, it's delicious! If you come to Elba, this hotel is strongly recommended.

We stayed for a week at Hotel Belmare, at the western end of Elba, beyond Marciana. It's a wonderful place, great location, excellent food, very friendly staff almost all of whom are part of the same family. The greatest attraction for us was the fact that the hotel is run by Vincenzo, who is an extremely charming and helpful host. He is passionate about everything in Elba, particularly the walks and the countryside. He made the holiday for us. There is a bus service but you are much better off with a car if possible. If it's a lively nightlife you are after, this is probably not the place for you. But if you want to walk and to explore the island, it would be hard to find anywhere as good as this.
